AHFC General Regulations
AHFC Constitution
The AHFC adheres to the Australian Fencing Federation's alignment to the National Integrity Framework (NIF) and the associated policies therein. This includes the:
AHFC Club Equipment Policy
The following policy is applicable to all club equipment.
Jackets, plastrons, masks, gloves and bodywires:
Are not to be shared and are available to be borrowed on a quarterly basis for a fee.
If you need to borrow equipment, make sure it is issued by a club official and recorded in the loan book.
You are responsible for keeping borrowed equipment in good and clean condition. Equipment returned in a damaged condition will incur a cleaning/replacement fee.
All borrowed equipment must be presented at the start of each term for a safety inspection.
All borrowed equipment must be returned to the club if you are not renewing your membership and at the end of each quarter/year. These items must be washed prior to returning.
Lames (electric jackets) and swords:
Are available to be borrowed per session and must be returned to their respective racks at the end of each session.
These items are available for loan for the purpose of attending off-site competitions. Items must be signed out by a club official.
Items must be returned at the next scheduled training session for use by other members.
AHFC Extreme Weather Policy
Catastrophic Fire Days ~ Training Cancelled. SITE CLOSED.
AHFC Hot Weather Policy ~ Training will be not be cancelled for hot weather. On hot days the coaches will conduct a modified training session suitable for the conditions.
Catastrophic Marshmallow Days ~ Hot chocolate will be supplied by gold coin donation.
